A medical device manufacturer located in Arcadia is hiring associates for deburring and polishing of small metal parts.
- Monday - Friday
- 6am - 2:30pm
- Must be open to OT & weekends
Responsibilities:
- Remove burrs, sharp corners, and excess material using hand tools (files, scrapers, deburring blades), power tools (grinders, sanders, rotary tools), or specialized machinery.
- Inspect finished metal pieces visually and use precision measuring instruments like calipers and micrometers to confirm parts match strict production standards.
- Interpret technical drawings, work instructions, and routing sheets to determine correct edge breaks, tolerances, and finish specifications.
- Keep tools, equipment, and workstations clean, organized, and compliant with safety guidelines.
- Record inspection data, completed quantities, and production tracking details accurately.
Qualifications & Skills
- 1 to 2 years working in a manufacturing, production, or machine shop environment.
- Strong hand-eye coordination and steady hands for detailed finishing work without damaging parts.
- Ability to read blueprints and use basic hand measuring tools.
