• Coverage consists of call-only shifts lasting 24 hours, from 7 AM to 7 AM.
• Each shift involves caring for fewer than 20 patients, with around 15 patients seen over a 24-hour period.
• In-house call coverage is a requirement.
• Experience in arthroscopy and total joint replacement procedures is necessary.
• Proficiency in hip and knee procedures is also required.
• The call ratio is set at 1:4, with a callback rate of under 25%.
• Fewer than 10 admissions are expected during each 24-hour period.
• Phone consultations are part of the responsibilities.
