Warehouse Operations Manager

Overview Würth Wood Group is seeking a motivated and experienced Warehouse Operations Manager to lead our distribution operation at our branch in Charlotte, NC . Direct Reports : You will oversee 7 Warehouse Associates (titled "Operations Specialists" in house), 5 CDL Drivers (titled "Transportation Specialists" in house; 2 CDL-A and 3 CDL-B), and 2 Warehouse Operations Supervisors (1 per shift). Reporting Structure : The Warehouse Operations Manager will report to the General Manager and Regional Operations Manager. Location : 5102 W Hanna Ave, Tampa, FL 33634 Responsibilities Lead and develop warehouse and CDL delivery personnel through hands-on leadership Oversee inbound, outbound, receiving, stockkeeping, inventory management, picking/packing, palletizing, and shipping Ensure safety and OSHA compliance; coordinate basic facility maintenance (electricians, HVAC, plumbing, landscaping, waste management) Operate with hands-on involvement across all departments including the tint lab for paint and stain orders Utilize SAP-based WMS/ERP systems and RF scanners for shipping, receiving, and inventory functions Develop and enforce SOPs; drive process improvements and operational efficiency Schedule and manage daily operations to meet service and quality goals Training : On-the-job situationally-based training by two Regional Operations Managers and two incumbent Warehouse Operations Supervisors. Requirements Minimum 5 years of experience in warehouse or distribution operations management Proven ability to lead and develop warehouse and CDL personnel through hands-on leadership Strong background in full-spectrum inbound and outbound operations (receiving, checking in materials, stockkeeping, inventory management, picking/packing, palletizing, shipping) Track record of driving process improvements and operational efficiency WMS and/or ERP system proficiency Experience developing and enforcing SOPs Knowledge of OSHA standards and compliance Ability to coordinate and schedule basic facility maintenance (electricians, HVAC, plumbing, landscaping, waste management) Strong organizational and communication skills; hands-on experience with sit-down propane forklifts Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, service-driven environment Schedule, Salary & Benefits Schedule : Monday through Friday. Start times vary; earliest around 5:00am. In-house CDL Drivers typically start between 4:30am and 5:00am. Warehouse associates work two shifts: 7:00am–4:00pm and 11:00am–8:00pm. The latest you would need to be in the facility is 9:00pm, but the expectation is not to work long days. Salary : $80k annual salary. Starting rate is not negotiable.
