Assistant Plant Manager

Our client, a leading organization in the food manufacturing industry, is seeking a Assistant Plant Manager to join their team. As a Assistant Plant Manager, you will be part of the Raw Processing Operations supporting production and quality assurance teams. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, a proactive attitude, and a commitment to safety and quality, which will align successfully in the organization.

What's the Job?

• Oversee daily operations for raw processing, takedown, and smokehouse departments to ensure smooth production flow.

• Coordinate with scheduling teams to meet production schedules efficiently and effectively.

• Lead and develop production supervisors and team members, fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.

• Ensure all operations comply with food safety, regulatory, and quality standards, maintaining a hygienic and safe environment.

• Collaborate with maintenance, sanitation, purchasing, and quality assurance teams to optimize operational performance and equipment reliability.

What's Needed?

• 3–7 years of experience in food manufacturing or industrial production environments.

• Leadership experience supervising production teams in a manufacturing setting.

• Strong knowledge of food safety and quality standards in a ready-to-eat or protein processing environment.

• Ability to analyze production data and implement operational improvements.

• Excellent communication and leadership skills to motivate and guide teams effectively.
