Machine Operator / Production Associate

Location: Devens, MA 01434 XXXX: XXXXXXXXXXX/hour on W2

Duration: 6-Month Contract

Job Summary

We are seeking motivated and reliable individuals to join our production team in Devens, MA. In this role, you will be trained to operate corrugator and converting machines used to manufacture high-quality corrugated packaging products. This is an excellent opportunity for candidates who enjoy hands-on work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Learn to operate corrugator and converting machines to produce corrugated packaging products.
• Perform routine machine maintenance and make machine adjustments to meet production specifications.
• Inspect finished products for defects and take corrective actions when necessary.
• Follow all safety procedures and maintain a safe work environment.
• Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors to achieve production goals.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Assist with loading and unloading materials and operating additional production equipment as needed.
• Support and mentor new team members when required.

Required Qualifications

• Ability to lift up to 25 lbs. and work safely in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
• Ability to read, write, and understand basic English.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Ability to read a tape measure accurately.
• Ability to identify product defects and maintain quality standards.
• Willingness to work in a non-climate-controlled facility.
• Ability to work overtime, including Saturdays, as required.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills.

Preferred Skills

• Experience working in a high-speed, high-volume manufacturing or production environment.
• Mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn machine operations.
• Strong commitment to workplace safety.
