The bartender will also...Mix drinks, cocktails, and other bar beverages as ordered and in compliance with company standardsEnsure that the assigned bar area is fully equipped with tools and products needed for mixing beverages and serving guestsPrepare inventory or purchase requisitions as needed to replenish suppliesServe snacks or food items to guests seated at the bar where appropriateDemonstrate a thorough knowledge of food and beverage products, menus, and promotionsMaintain a clean working area by sweeping, vacuuming, dusting, cleaning of glass doors and windows, etc. as neededProvide guidance to guests on resort activities, dining options, and general resort and regional informationPerform other duties as assignedQualificationsOne year prior bartending experience requiredHospitality experience preferredExcellent oral communication skills requiredPositive interpersonal skills requiredAbility and flexibility to work various shifts including nights, weekends, and holidaysSMI Hotel Group recruits the best and brightest, in order to deliver the highest quality service to our guests.
