Step into an impactful Special Education teaching role within a supportive and innovative educational environment. This full-time contract opportunity runs from October 5, 2026, through the end of the school year, offering a rewarding experience for dedicated professionals passionate about making a difference. As a Resource Specialist Program (RSP) educator, you’ll collaborate with a committed team and work directly with students to create individualized, meaningful learning pathways. Pay for this position ranges from $45 to $55 per hour, with weekly pay.
Key Qualifications and Experience:
- Current and active CTC licensure with Mild/Moderate Special Education authorization required
- Prior experience in a Special Education classroom or RSP setting strongly preferred
- Ability to work full-time, 35-37.5 hours per week
- Strong communication and collaboration skills for effective teamwork with students, families, and staff
- Commitment to fostering an inclusive, supportive classroom environment
Responsibilities:
- Develop, implement, and monitor individualized education plans (IEPs) for students
- Provide direct instruction and interventions tailored to unique student needs
- Collaborate regularly with general education teachers, specialists, and families to ensure student success
- Maintain accurate and timely student records and progress documentation
- Foster a positive, nurturing classroom climate that encourages student growth and resilience
