Qualifications and Preferred Experience:

• Valid Special Education Teaching certification
• Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in Special Education or related field
• Experience working with students with diverse learning needs
• Familiarity with IEP development and progress monitoring
• Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams
• Patient, flexible, and creative in adapting instruction to student needs

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and implement individualized instruction for students with special needs in accordance with IEP goals
• Create a positive, inclusive classroom environment that encourages participation and learning
• Assess student progress, make data-driven instructional adjustments, and provide timely feedback to caregivers and team members
• Collaborate with general education teachers, therapists, and support staff to integrate students successfully into the school community
• Maintain accurate records, reports, and documentation as required for compliance
• Engage in ongoing professional development to stay current with best practices in special education
