Job Summary
The organization is seeking a licensed Intensive Care Unit (ICU) Registered Nurse (RN) for a fast-paced unit located in the neuro ICU. The role involves providing advanced patient care for critically ill patients with conditions such as strokes, ventriculostomies, and post-craniectomy, utilizing specialized skills and certifications.

Job Details

• Position: ICU Registered Nurse (RN) Neuro ICU
• Location: The healthcare provider (general, unspecified location)
• Shift: Days, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week, starting on 10/12/2026 and ending on 01/11/2027
• Required Qualifications: Valid IL license or active application, BLS and ACLS certifications, NIH Stroke Scale Certification, Ventriculostomy experience, TPA knowledge, ventilators, arterial and central lines experience, and at least 1 year of clinical experience in ICU settings.
• Schedule: 12-hour days shift, minimum 36 hours weekly.
• Additional Information: The unit handles acute stroke management, post-craniectomy care, and titration of drips following physician orders. Nurse duties include troubleshooting ventilators, reading and interpreting Phillips telemetry strips, and participating in unit-specific orientation. Float: Float rotation may be required.
• Submission Requirements: Last four digits of SSN, active IL license or confirmation of application process, understanding of OSF drug-free policy, and compliance with local call-off policies.
