We are looking for an experienced Full-Stack Software Engineer / L2 Tech Lead with 15+ years of software engineering experience to join our team in Seattle, WA.
The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience in both backend and frontend development , along with proven technical leadership experience. Candidates must have prior experience working in the People Tech / HR Technology domain .
Responsibilities- Lead the design, development, and implementation of scalable full-stack applications.
- Provide technical leadership and guidance to engineering teams.
- Develop and maintain backend services, APIs, and enterprise applications.
- Design and develop modern frontend applications.
- Participate in architecture, technical design, code reviews, and troubleshooting.
- Work closely with product managers, architects, business stakeholders, and engineering teams.
- Translate business requirements into effective technical solutions.
- Ensure application quality, scalability, security, and performance.
- Mentor team members and promote software engineering best practices.
- Participate in Agile/Scrum development processes.
Hands-on experience with one or more of the following:
- Java
- Python
- C++
- Golang
- C#
- .NET
- JavaScript
- Angular and/or React
- Modern Angular versions
- JavaScript / TypeScript
- Responsive web application development
- Strong experience in both frontend and backend development.
- Experience building and consuming REST APIs.
- Experience with enterprise application architecture.
- Strong understanding of SDLC and software engineering best practices.
People Tech domain experience is mandatory.
Candidates should have experience in areas such as:
- HR Technology
- Human Resources
- Human Capital Management (HCM)
- People Technology
- HR Applications / HR Systems
- HR & Procurement
- Employee-facing enterprise applications
- Related People Tech platforms and business processes
Candidates must be able to explain their specific People Tech domain expertise and previous project experience .
Required Qualifications- 15+ years of software engineering experience.
- Previous experience as a Tech Lead, L2 Lead, or Senior Software Engineer .
- Strong full-stack development experience.
- Strong backend and frontend technical skills.
- Experience with enterprise-scale applications.
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work in a hands-on technical leadership role.
- Must be willing to work onsite in Seattle, WA .
