About the Role

The Cafeteria Attendant assists in preparation and service food items for Employee Dining Room in accordance with production requirements and quality standards while maintaining a safe, sanitary work environment.

What You Will Do

• Prepare set-up and salad bar items; set-up hotline with food retrieved from kitchen.
• Maintain the cleanliness of cafeteria kitchen and seating areas; restock condiments and paper goods as necessary.
• Date all food containers and rotate as per policies, making sure that all perishables are kept at proper temperatures; check pars for shift use, determine necessary preparation, freezer pull and line set up; note any out-of-stock items or possible shortages; return all food items not used to designated storage areas, being sure to cover/date all perishables; assist in setting up plans and actions to correct any food cost problems; control food waste, loss and usage per policies.
• Clean and sanitize china, glass, and silver using a dish machine.
• Maintain the sanitation of all major kitchen equipment, culinary and food and beverage facilities.
• Maintain the silver polishing.

Schedule & Hours:

• Full Time (early mornings, days, evenings, weekends and holidays).
