EMIP STRATEGIC PROGRAM DEVELOPMENT MANAGER

Position Summary This posting is for the State of Hawaii Department of Health Environmental Management Division, located in Waipahu to Aiea on the Island of Oahu. Salary ranges from $9,142 to $14,625 per month, commensurate with training and experience. Responsibilities The purpose of this position is to provide strategic, high‑level management support for complex or specialized programs and projects. The incumbent will work with technical team members, subject matter experts, analysts, business and vendors to provide overall program and project directions, planning, analysis, coordination, implementation, execution, control and completion activities to support the Environmental Management Division’s strategic, technical and programmatic needs. Education Graduation from an accredited four‑year college or university with a bachelor’s degree. Applicable substitutions may apply. Experience Five years of progressively responsible professional experience in at least three of the following areas: strategic planning, program assessment and development, formative and outcome evaluations, business process improvement, and/or experience managing several large or complex projects. Licenses Possession of a valid State of Hawaii Driver’s License is preferred.
