Sr. EH&S Specialist/I & E Construction Oversight

Job Title: Sr. EH&S Delivery Specialist/ Instrument & Electrical Construction Oversight Location: Carrollton, KY 41008 (onsite role) Contract Length: 12‑month contract Schedule: 50 hours/week (5x10s). Typical hours: 6:00 AM – 4:30 PM Pay Range: $55‑68 per hour. (Per diem for eligible candidates) Job Description Leads hub or site EH&S compliance and implementation of the safety management system in multiple fields such as health and safety, environmental, air, water and industrial hygiene. Maintains the license to operate for the site or hub. Requires expanded conceptual and practical knowledge in own job discipline. Responsibilities / Duties Leads implementation of global EH&S management systems and performance improvement of assigned plant(s), site, hub, and business. Coordinates, implements, and optimizes EH&S programs and compliance programs across site/hub. Participates in incident investigations and the corrective action process for EH&S issues and opportunities. Performs central review of all EH&S related documents and submittals to ensure consistency and compliance goals are met. Performs Requirements Management Work Process (RWMP) roles as needed. Initiates and supports management of change (MOC) for EH&S programs and compliance matters. Acts as agency visit protocol owner and implementer. Manages permits, including submittal of permit applications for new and modified equipment, requests for permit changes, and renewals. Coaches, trains, and mentors EH&S technicians. Performs site or plant gap assessments around EH&S work process implementation. Develops, reviews, monitors, creates and delivers training as appropriate. Must Have Instrument & Electrical construction experience. General construction background. Software Microsoft Office (Excel, Word). Ability to read P&IDs. Familiarity with digital drawing viewers (MicroStation/AutoCAD viewers). SAP and CATS exposure preferred. Driving Requirement Must be able to drive on site. Valid driver’s license required. Overtime Occasional weekends and overtime possible. Education Preferred: Bachelor’s degree. Minimum qualification: High school diploma.
