Electronic Technician I (2:00pm to 10:30pm)

Electronic Technician IIn this job you will be assemble, troubleshoot, connect and test electronic assemblies of basic to moderate complexity. Position is for 2nd shift (2pm - 10:30 pm).As an Electronic Technician I you will:Assemble junction boxes, electronic controls, and other assemblies per mechanical and electrical drawingsInstall and test completed electronic assembliesAct as an inspector for final electronics checkoutInteract with manufacturing to ensure proper installation and test of completed electronic assembliesParticipate in wiring diagram / interconnect drawing reviewsTroubleshoot electronic assemblies for production and aftermarket supportMaintain safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulationsConserve resources by using equipment and supplies as needed to accomplish job resultsContribute to team effort by training others in performance of moderately complex electronic assembly tasks as neededInspect all work prior to passing it on to the next operationDocument actions by completing production and quality formsWe are looking for someone who:Is able to safety use small hand and power toolsCan read and interpret Drawings and Bills of MaterialMust have basic computer skillsMust have working knowledge of wiring diagrams, interconnect drawings / ladder logic, schematics and Gerber filesIs able to bench troubleshoot wiring utilizing available diagrams and drawings and discrete circuits containing relays, diodes, transistors, capacitors, resistors and DC battery chargers utilizing schematics and Gerber filesIs knowledgeable in the usage of millimeters and power suppliesMust have attention to detail and be able to work independently and follow written proceduresMust be able to assist with training of new employees on basic to moderate testing tasks.Has a High School diploma, GED or combination of work experience and skill developmentMust be able to understand and follow verbal and written instructions in English.Ideally holds an Associate's degree in Electronics Engineering Technology, Electronics or other electronics related discipline, or the equivalent combination of work/military experience and skill developmentIdeally has 1-2 years in an electronics technician capacityThe physical demands of the job are:Work is classified as Medium - Heavy Physical Demand Level (PDL) by the US Dept of Labor's Dictionary of Occupational TitlesFrequencies - Occasional (1-33%); Frequent (34-66%); Continuous (67-100%)Lifting Demands:Lift up to 75 pounds on an occasional basis floor to waist with assistanceLift up to 40 pounds on a frequent basis floor to waistCarry up to 40 pounds on an occasional basis up to 25 feetPush/Pull up to 40 pounds on a frequent basisPush/Pull more than 40 pounds on an occasional basis with assistancePostural Demands:Standing – continuousWalking – continuousBending/stooping – frequentSquatting/kneeling – frequentLifting – frequentMiscellaneous Demands:Griping, manipulation, fingering –continuousVariable hand/power tool use – frequentTwo-person tasks using assistive devices for lifting, pulling and pushing including engine stands hand trucks, pallet jacks, and hoistsWhat we offer you:Pay Range is typically between $20 - $25 per hourPlease note the pay information shown above is a general guideline.
