This is a critical leadership role responsible for overseeing shift operations, ensuring compliance, and maintaining service excellence in a fast-paced airport environment.Candidates must be available for evening part-time shifts and demonstrate strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.SHIFT INFORMATIONPart-Time PositionShift: 7:30 p.m. – 9:30 p.m.Open availability required, including weekends and holidays as neededPOSITION SUMMARYResponsible for the day-to-day activities of a specific shift operation. This includes managing employee performance, ensuring accuracy of attendance and timekeeping, effectively coordinating workload, and properly utilizing company and client vehicles and equipment. All discrepancies must be reported to the Operations Manager and/or General Manager.DRESS CODE REQUIREMENTSBusiness-appropriate professional attire or company-issued uniformClean, neat, and well-groomed appearance at all timesSecurity identification badge must be visible at all times while on dutyClosed-toe, safe, and appropriate footwear requiredNo excessive or unprofessional accessories permittedQUALIFICATIONSEducation and ExperienceHigh School diploma or equivalent requiredPrior supervisory or management experience in a shift-based environment requiredStrong verbal and written communication skillsMust have reliable cell phone and transportationPhysical & Personal RequirementsAbility to sit, stand, bend, and lift throughout shiftAbility to professionally interact with employees, clients, and the publicMust maintain strict confidentiality at all timesMust pass pre-employment and random drug testingMust complete criminal background check and obtain security-sensitive badgeMust be authorized to work in the United StatesMust be able to read, understand, and communicate instructions in EnglishMust be able to resolve conflict situations professionallyPERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIESPerform duties of subordinate employees when necessaryMonitor and manage shift operations and employee performanceSchedule personnel daily and submit to Operations leadershipApprove and monitor overtime usage with proper authorizationAudit employee timekeeping and attendance records for accuracyEnsure compliance with company policies, client requirements, and government regulationsCommunicate effectively with staff, clients, and managementIdentify and report safety hazards or equipment issues immediatelyRespond to incidents and escalate urgent matters appropriatelyProvide clear direction, coaching, and corrective feedback to staffMaintain accurate reports, training records, and documentationConduct quality assurance checks to ensure client compliance standards are metEnsure gates and operational assignments are properly staffed and on timeTrack employee location and activity as required (15-minute intervals)Prepare and submit accurate shift reports 30–60 minutes prior to end of shiftMaintain professionalism and leadership presence at all timesAddress employee concerns privately and professionallyAttend required meetings and training sessionsPerform additional duties as assignedWORK ENVIRONMENTThis role operates in a fast-paced airport environment with constant coordination between employees, clients, and operational leadership.
