Job Description
The Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) provides direct support to children with Autism Spectrum Disorder by implementing behavioral intervention plans under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA). The role involves working in a variety of settings including in-home and community-based environments to promote client progress and ensure effective treatment delivery.
Responsibilities
- Collect and record accurate data on client behaviors and treatment progress
- Implement behavior intervention strategies according to individualized treatment plans
- Provide direct support and assistance to clients during sessions
- Document session activities and client responses thoroughly
- Communicate effectively with the BCBA and other team members regarding client progress and concerns
Required Qualifications
- Current Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) credential
Preferred Qualifications
- Entry-level experience in applied behavior analysis
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Knowledge of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) principles
- Proficiency in data collection and analysis
- Familiarity with behavioral intervention techniques
- Strong communication skills
