Credit Analyst - Corporate Banking

About the Role Our client, a dynamic financial institution, is seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Credit Analyst to join their Corporate Banking division. This position is fully remote, offering the flexibility to work from anywhere while contributing to the assessment and management of credit risk for a diverse portfolio of corporate clients. You will play a vital role in evaluating financial statements, conducting credit analysis, and preparing credit applications. Key Responsibilities Analyze financial statements, cash flow, collateral, and industry conditions to assess the creditworthiness of corporate clients. Prepare comprehensive credit reports and recommendations for new loan facilities, renewals, and modifications. Monitor existing loan portfolios for potential risks and ensure compliance with loan covenants. Partner with Relationship Managers to understand client needs and provide timely credit analysis support. Conduct due diligence and research on potential borrowers and their respective industries. Ensure all credit documentation is accurate, complete, and in compliance with bank policies and regulatory requirements. Assist in identifying early warning signs of deteriorating credit quality and recommending appropriate actions. Stay updated on credit best practices, economic trends, and regulatory changes affecting corporate lending. Requirements Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related quantitative field. 1-3 years of experience in credit analysis, financial analysis, or a related role within the financial services industry. Strong understanding of financial statement analysis, ratio analysis, and cash flow evaluation. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel for financial modeling and data analysis. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills. Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to articulate findings clearly and concisely. Ability to work independently, manage multiple deadlines, and maintain a high level of accuracy in a remote setting. Knowledge of commercial loan structures and documentation is a plus.
