Associate Scientist, In Vivo Pharmacology

Pfizer seeks an Associate Scientist to support in vivo oncology studies within the Oncology Research Unit. The role involves executing preclinical studies with small molecules and ADCs, performing tumor monitoring, animal care, dosing support, and sample collection under established protocols.
Responsibilities
- Conduct in vivo oncology study activities including tumor measurements, body weight monitoring, and clinical observations
- Assist with execution of xenograft, syngeneic, and other oncology models under established protocols
- Support efficacy, tolerability, and pharmacodynamic biomarker studies with various dosing and combination approaches
- Prepare study materials, maintain dosing schedules, and ensure protocol and SOP compliance
- Communicate study observations, technical issues, and animal welfare concerns promptly to managers and study leads
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in biology, pharmacology, animal science, cancer biology, or related field
- Hands-on rodent handling and in vivo procedure experience in research or pharmaceutical setting
- Proficiency with tumor measurement, animal monitoring, dosing, and study documentation
- Ability to follow protocols and SOPs with precision and strong attention to detail
- Basic understanding of oncology pharmacology, tumor growth, and treatment response
- Strong organizational and communication skills with ability to work collaboratively
- Willingness to work after hours as needed to ensure study integrity
Compensation: $60,200.00-$100,400.00 base annual salary, plus 7.5% bonus target
