About the Position

TravelNurseSource is working with Malone Healthcare to find a qualified ICU/Critical Care RN in Cleveland, Ohio, 44140!

• Provide direct nursing care to post-cardiac surgery patients admitted directly from the OR in a Cardiothoracic ICU setting
• Titrate drips including sedation medications and vasoactives
• Perform chest tube and line removal, patient mobilization, and daily weights
• Care for a diverse patient population including CABG, valve, Ross procedure, thoracic, and aortic dissection cases, as well as general ICU patients
• Operate and monitor advanced support devices including CRRT, Tablo, Aquadex, Impella, IABP, HeartMate III, external VAD, and ECMO

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Ohio or compact license eligibility
• Experience in an ICU or critical care setting
• Proficiency with vasoactive and sedation drip titration
• Familiarity with advanced cardiac and mechanical support devices

• Prior experience in a Cardiothoracic or Cardiac Surgery ICU
• Hands-on experience with ECMO, Impella, IABP, or VAD management
• Experience with CRRT or continuous renal replacement therapies
