King Kamehameha Kona Beach Resort Courtyard by Marriott currently has an opening for a talented Full Time Cook III to share the aloha spirit and strive to create a memorable guest experience. Brief summary of job: Responsible for the preparation of restaurant hot/cold items, banquet, outlet and cafeteria items according to recipes and specifications set by the hotel.

Essential functions and responsibilities of the job include but are not limited to: Maintain a friendly, cheerful and courteous demeanor at all times, while providing personalized service to hotel guests. Communicate effectively with guests and fellow team members. Assists in preparing and cooking foods under supervision. Mixes, cuts and shapes dough by hand or machine. Bakes bread, rolls, muffins, biscuits, pies and cakes. Provide assistance to other team members and departments to contribute to the best overall performance of the department and hotel. Perform other duties as assigned, requested or deemed necessary by management.

Knowledge/Education/Experience: Minimum of one (1) - two (2) years of related culinary hotel or restaurant experience. High school or equivalent education. TB clearance card required.

Skills/Abilities/Other Requirements: English speaking or bilingual. Ability to prioritize, organize and make good judgments. Ability to maintain good team member relations. Dependable.
