Overnight Stocking Manager – West Detroit Market We seek passionate leaders to join our team as an Overnight Stocking Manager for our West Detroit Market. Eligible locations include Wixom, MI; Canton, MI; Brighton, MI; Waterford, MI; Northville, MI; Commerce, MI; Howell, MI; Livonia, MI; White Lake, MI; Southfield, MI; Hartland, MI. What You’ll be Doing Engage team members in span of care to ensure they receive onboarding, training, development, coaching, and feedback for success. Identify talent and conduct career discussions to support overall store staffing and a diversified talent pipeline. Maintain candid discussions with team members to uphold Meijer standards and support growth. Accountable for area operations and financial results, overseeing execution of corporate plans to maximize sales and productivity, and owning P&L budget line items. Drive safety and compliance throughout the store, manage store condition, and follow all compliance procedures. Ensure Team Leaders and Leads provide guidance and assign daily work assignments and training needs. Perform other duties as assigned or required. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience. Minimum 4+ years of retail/grocery or customer service experience. Progressive leadership experience preferred. Passion for providing industry‑leading service. Ability to communicate with team members clearly and precisely. Ability to analyze financial and statistical information and use it to make informed decisions. Ability to lead an organization that practices safety at all times. Proactive and creative thinking applied to business. Understanding of seasonal and diverse merchandising to meet customer needs and gain sales and market share.
