Best Workplace awardee.****You will work a hybrid schedule each week with (3) days each week in our Hoboken (NJ) office. ****What we are looking for:We are looking for a Senior Manager Business Development, Americas, to join our team.What you will be doing:As a Sr. Manager for the BDR team, you will be a leader of our Sales Development (prospecting) group in North America and share responsibility for its continued success via engaged leadership of our high performing team of BDRs. You will be a trusted resource for team members and leadership. The BDR Manager will serve as first-line leader of our BDR team including the traditional responsibilities commensurate with the position.You will work a hybrid schedule each week with (3) days each week in our Hoboken (NJ) office. The individual contributors you are responsible for leading will be located in any of our Hoboken (NJ) office, DFW (TX) office, or remote within U.S.This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated individual to get in on the ground floor of a rapid-growth and ambitious start-up.Leadership Responsibilities:Provide on-the-job coaching to new and existing Business Development Representatives (BDRs) responsible for inbound and outbound lead generation engagements.Contribute to the ongoing development of our sales development playbook, through our ongoing refinement of processes, messaging, and best practices such as mail sequences, value-prop pitches, cold-call role-playing, email and social templates, and qualification tactics to ensure BDR efficiency, consistent conveyance, and maximum impact of our current messaging and communication to prospects.Support KPI metrics to measure the effectiveness of BDRs’ lead generation and qualification efforts and help BDRs improve by understanding their performance on a regular basis.Motivate and provide assistance to the BDR team to achieve collective and individual goals.Support the individual career development goals of each BDR you lead.Partner with the Sales & Marketing leadership and stakeholders to continually experiment and optimize elements such as messaging, marketing segments, prospect lists via insights gathered from lead generation efforts.Ongoing collaboration with members of our Revenue Ops, Operations (Business Applications), and GTM AI teams in support of maintaining maximum time for a BDRs productivity and reducing the administrative burden of doing their job effectively.Partner with the AVP of Global Sales Development and HR in BDR recruitment activitiesWhat you will bring to the table:3+ years of B2B technology Sales, Sales Development, or Inside Sales Management experienceDocumented experience leading people in some capacitySelf-starter with proven success in outbound (cold calling experience is required) and inbound lead generation in competitive and results-driven environments.Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to lead and motivate others.Excels as both a leader and a collaborative teammate concurrently.Excellent working knowledge of inbound & outbound technologies and toolsDemonstrated ability to articulate value propositions of the product to peers, subordinates, as well as external senior level executives.Excellent verbal and written communication skillsDemonstrates the ability to effectively teach others.Experience in growing and scaling a successful sales development team in a fast-growth environment is preferred.Excellent organizational skillsProficiency with sales technology tools including CRM (SFDC experience is strongly preferred), prospecting automation tools (Outreach.io experience is strongly preferred), various sales engagement platforms and prospecting databases, and Microsoft toolsAbility to collaborate effectively with all levels of the organization including sales, marketing, channels, product, and engineering.Experience in a Cybersecurity and/or start-up technology organization is preferred.With teams around the world, you’ll be working alongside top global talent in Cybersecurity and Identity Access Management.
