Job Responsibilities

• Craft Individualized Therapy Plans: Assess patient needs and formulate tailored treatment strategies that empower them to meet their personal goals.
• Implement Therapeutic Techniques: Apply research-supported methods to bolster patients' motor functions, cognitive abilities, and daily activities.
• Engage with Interdisciplinary Teams: Partner with fellow OTs, PTs, STs, doctors, and nursing staff to deliver comprehensive, holistic treatment.
• Educate Patients and Families: Instruct patients and their caregivers about therapy methods to encourage continuous progress outside of the clinical setting.
• Track and Document Progress: Monitor patient advancements and modify treatment plans as necessary to stay on course for success.

Qualifications

• Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited institution
• Encouraged participation in continuing education or post-graduate certifications

Certifications Required

• Active Occupational Therapist (OTR/L) license
• NBCOT certification is mandatory
