Working closely with the FP&A & Cost Manager, this role supports forecasting, budgeting, cost management, and commercial profitability analysis while monitoring key financial and operational performance metrics. The position provides timely, accurate, and actionable financial insights to support day-to-day business decisions and improve business performance.Essential FunctionsFinancial Reporting & AnalysisPrepare recurring financial reports and analysis supporting EPO Operations, Commercial, Engineering, and functional leadershipAnalyze actual financial performance against forecast, budget and prior year, identifying key variances and driversPrepare monthly reporting packages, dashboards and management reportsMonitor orders, sales, profitability, costs and other key financial and operational KPIsPerform ad hoc financial analysis to support business decisions and management requestsTranslate financial data into clear and actionable insightsMaintain accurate and timely financial reporting and ensure consistency across reporting systems and toolsFinancial Planning & ForecastingSupport EPO's annual budget/AOP and current-year forecasting processes, including data gathering, analysis, modeling, and consolidation of inputsMaintain financial models and schedules used in monthly forecasting and budgetingPrepare variance analysis and supporting schedules for forecast and budget reviewsTrack changes in revenue, volume, pricing, mix, material costs, labor, overhead, and other key financial assumptionsSupport scenario analysis and sensitivity analysis related to current-year business performanceAssist with Orders, Backlog, Sales, and profitability forecastingMaintain forecast tracking and identify changes in business assumptions that may impact financial resultsCommercial Finance & ProfitabilitySupport analysis of revenue, margins, and profitability across products, customers and marketsPrepare pricing and margin analysis using current cost inputs and business assumptionsSupport Commercial teams with pricing analysis, bid/proposal analysis, and customer profitability analysisAnalyze price, volume, mix and cost impacts on financial performanceTrack pricing and margin improvement performance and assist in identifying margin improvement opportunitiesSupport annual price increase analysisAssist with analysis of customer contracts, rebates, incentives, and other commercial arrangementsAnalyze product mix and SKU-level margins and identify trends or areas requiring additional investigationPrepare customer and product profitability reporting as assignedCost Accounting & Operations FinanceSupport month-end close activities related to inventory, cost of goods sold, manufacturing variances, and journal entriesAnalyze manufacturing variances including material, burden, labor, purchase price and absorptionMaintain and reconcile inventory and cost accounting dataSupport standard costing activities, including annual cost roll, labor and burden rates, and ad hoc cost rollsSupport physical inventory activities and inventory valuation processesAnalyze manufacturing KPIs and identify operational trends impacting financial performanceSupport analysis of productivity initiatives, sourcing savings, inventory optimization, and other cost improvement activitiesAssist with financial analysis supporting capital expenditures and operational investmentsSupport internal and external audit requests and maintain compliance with applicable accounting policies and controlsBusiness PartnershipServe as a Finance resource to Operations, Commercial and Engineering for day-to-day financial questions and analysisProvide timely analysis to help business partners understand the financial impact of operational and commercial decisionsPartner with cross-function teams to gather information, validate assumptions, and improve the accuracy of financial reporting and forecastsDevelop strong understanding of site operations, products, customers, cost drivers and commercial activitiesReporting, Data & Process ImprovementDevelop and maintain financial reports, dashboards, and analytical tools using JDE, Excel, BI tools and other reporting systemsAutomate and improve recurring reporting and analysis processes to increase efficiency and accuracyMaintain data integrity across systems and reporting toolsIdentify opportunities to simplify financial processes and improve reporting accuracy and timelinessDocument recurring processes and maintain appropriate supporting documentationAssist with implementation and improvement of Finance processes, systems and reporting toolsKnowledge, Skills, and AbilitiesEducation• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field requiredExperience and Competencies· Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with exceptional attention to detail· Demonstrates the highest standards of integrity and professionalism· Strong knowledge of GAAP accounting and general accounting concepts· Excellent communication skills and high confidence in stating professional opinions· Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel· Demonstrated ability to
