OTR Dry van Company driver (W-2) Job in Somerville, MA by HMD Trucking

Requirements
- 1 year of CDL-A OTR experience
- No DUI/DWI in the last 5 years
- No more than 3 moving violations or 3 preventable accidents
- No excessive speeding (over 21 mph) in the last 3 years
- Must be above 23 years old at the time of applying

- Home time: 2 weeks out, 2 nights home

- Extra Stops: $50 per additional stop
- Empty Miles: Paid at the same CPM as loaded miles
- Detention Pay: $15 per hour after the first 2 hours
- Layover Pay: $100 for every 24 hours
- Orientation Pay: $150
Drive nationwide dry van freight for HMD Trucking while based in Somerville, MA. You’ll use late-model tractors (under 3 years) equipped with sleepers, APUs and inverters to run OTR lanes focused on safety and dependable service.
Core duties:
- Safely operate dry van equipment on interstate routes and complete scheduled deliveries.
- Conduct pre/post-trip inspections and keep accurate logs and paperwork.
- Liaise with dispatch to resolve routing or freight issues and report equipment needs.
Requirements & highlights:
- Must hold a CDL-A and have at least 12 months of verifiable experience.
- Compensation begins at 65¢/mile with weekly averages around 2,500 miles, plus bonuses, in-house maintenance support, regular home time, and comprehensive benefits.
