Joyful Cabinet Painting is a veteran-owned and woman-owned business proudly serving Cincinnati and South Dayton. We specialize in premium cabinet painting and delivering a client experience that feels organized, respectful, and genuinely joyful.

As we continue to grow — especially in the Dayton market — we are looking for a relationship-driven sales professional who knows how to build trust, guide homeowners confidently to a decision, and proactively create new opportunities.

Our clients invite us into their homes because they are already interested in our service. Your role is to connect, listen, educate, and confidently help them move forward. In addition, we are looking for someone ambitious enough to build relationships beyond the appointment — connecting with designers, contractors, and other local professionals who can become long-term referral partners.

Duties

• Run scheduled in-home consultations with warm leads
• Listen carefully to homeowners’ goals and concerns
• Educate them on our process and value
• Provide clear pricing and recommendations
• Confidently guide homeowners toward a decision
• Follow our prospect cultivation process
• Actively build relationships with designers, contractors, and other referral partners
• Help expand our presence and reputation in the Dayton market
• Report directly to the owner
  

Expectations

We believe clear expectations create freedom and success. In this role, you will be expected to:

• Run 8–12 in-home consultations per week (average)
• Maintain a healthy closing percentage aligned with company standards
• Follow up consistently with open estimates
• Track all activity accurately in our CRM
• Build and maintain at least 5–10 active referral relationships (designers, contractors, etc.) within your first 6 months
• Contribute to revenue growth in the Dayton market
  

This is a results-oriented position, but one built on integrity and professionalism. We measure performance not only by sales, but by client experience and long-term relationship building.

Experience in in-home sales, remodeling, or home services is helpful, but strong character, professionalism, and initiative matter most.
