Job Description

As a Security Officer Access Control in Pueblo County CO you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense and more. What Youll Do:

• Provide customer service to all visitors employees and contractors by carrying out site-specific access control procedures credential verification and security-related policies at an aerospace and defense location.
• Monitor entry and exit points screen authorized personnel and/or deliveries and document visitor activity to help support controlled access to restricted and sensitive areas.
• Respond to incidents alarms and critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner following post orders and reporting protocols for security-related concerns.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and perimeter observing for unusual activity unsecured access points and conditions that may require additional attention or escalation.
• Assist with emergency response activities communication with site contacts and preparation of accurate logs reports and records related to daily access control and security-related operations.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
