Job Description As a Security Officer Unarmed in Pueblo County, CO, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more. This access control role combines customer service, communication, and visible presence to help deter incidents while reflecting our agile, reliable, and innovative approach, strong teamwork, and commitment to integrity. Position Type: Full Time Pay Rate: $19.63 / Hour Job Schedule: Day Time Tue 06:00 AM - 06:00 PM Wed 06:00 AM - 06:00 PM Thur 06:00 AM - 06:00 PM What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and contractors by following site-specific access control procedures, badge verification protocols, and other security-related policies for a regulated aerospace and defense location.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials, authorize visitor and delivery access, and help to deter unauthorized entry into restricted and controlled areas.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and unusual activity in a calm, problem-solving manner, and support emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Maintain accurate access logs, visitor records, and incident documentation, and communicate relevant information to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and perimeter, observing for suspicious activity, unsecured access points, and other security-related concerns.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
