Location: Avera Infectious Disease Specialists, Sioux Falls Worker Type: Regular Work Shift: Primarily days with night, weekend and holiday on‑call involvement (United States of America) Clinic Hours: Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM Position: RN Clinic Manager or Clinic Manager Overview Responsible for all aspects of the day‑to‑day operations of the clinic, including nursing, business office, and medical staff relations. Responsibilities Manage, supervise, and coordinate day‑to‑day operations of the clinic, including financial management, operating budget maintenance, expense management, staffing, and services offered. Collect data, prepare reports, analyze statistics, and respond to correspondence. Identify and review operational problems, resolve them, or bring them to leadership attention. Assist leadership with the preparation, implementation, and monitoring of budgets and business plans. Recommend clinic facility improvements, including construction, renovation, and equipment purchase. Ensure compliance with regulatory agencies governing health‑care delivery and accrediting bodies; initiate appropriate changes. Maintain open, professional communication with providers daily and involve them on issues affecting the clinic. Coordinate with leadership on monitoring medical activities to ensure cost‑effective, high‑quality care for patients. Ensure proper credentialing and licensure are maintained. Administer staffing plans that allow the clinic to operate efficiently and cost‑effectively. Resolve medical‑administrative problems and keep lines of communication open with staff to ensure high morale and a professional atmosphere. Maintain professional affiliations and pursue professional development to stay current in healthcare trends. Attend such meetings as may be necessary to maintain operational knowledge of the organization. Interview, hire, develop, train, and retain employees; plan, assign, and lead work; appraise performance; reward and coach; address complaints; resolve problems. Essential Qualifications Must be able to work the specified hours. Must have adequate visual acuity and the ability to communicate effectively, hear, understand, and distinguish speech and other sounds. Bachelor's degree from an accredited four‑year college or university, or equivalent combination of education and experience. 1–3 years of related experience or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
