We’re looking for an operations professional capable of managing mission‑critical freight, leading professional drivers, and coordinating Department of Defense transportation projects where failure is not an option. Your Mission As Driver Manager for Government Operations, you will oversee our company drivers while managing Global Freight Management (GFM), Department of Defense transportation movements, hazardous materials shipments, and complex transloading projects. You will become the operational link between customers, military installations, project managers, drivers, ports, and company leadership. Every day is different. Every shipment matters. Primary Responsibilities Manage company drivers and team-driver operations Dispatch and monitor DoD, DOE, and hazardous material and sensitive shipments Execute transportation plans for government and commercial defense projects Monitor driver Hours of Service, compliance, and equipment utilization Coordinate military installation appointments and port operations Communicate with customers, project managers, military personnel, and third‑party logistics providers Resolve operational issues while maintaining exceptional customer service Support transloading, cross‑docking, export, and project cargo operations Ensure shipments meet all safety, security, and regulatory requirements Remain calm when everyone else is stressed Think three steps ahead Takes ownership without being asked Make decisions instead of excuses Communicate professionally with drivers and customers Lead people rather than simply assigning loads Understand that our drivers are our most valuable asset Preferred Experience Department of Defense or government freight experience (preferred) Hazardous materials operations TMS and ELD systems Strong knowledge of FMCSA regulations Project freight, intermodal, or port operations experience is a plus Excellent organizational and communication skills If you believe you have the professionalism, accountability, and operational mindset to support America’s defense supply chain, we’d like to hear from you. #J-18808-Ljbffr
