Pharmacy Technician

Actalent Healthcare is hiring experienced Pharmacy Techs for a high-paying, data-entry role at a closed-door pharmacy in North Fort Worth, TX.

Location: Fort Worth, TX (Onsite Only)

Pay Rate: $22.00 per hour

Schedule: Monday–Friday, 10:00 AM–7:00 PM CST (Not Flexible)

Key Responsibilities

• Review referral documentation to ensure all required information is complete and accurate.

• Create patient profiles from scanned and faxed documents by accurately entering patient and provider information.

• Conduct an initial review of prescriptions to verify clinical accuracy and readiness for processing.

• Communicate with providers regarding referral status, prescription clarifications, missing documentation, and patient concerns.

• Maintain concise and accurate progress notes to ensure visibility throughout the referral workflow.

• Enter and maintain provider information within pharmacy systems.

• Support timely and efficient referral intake while adhering to company and regulatory standards.

Required Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.

• Minimum of 2 years of pharmacy experience (Pharmacy Technician Trainee experience does not count toward the requirement).

• Active Texas Pharmacy Technician License (required).

• Active PTCB Certification (required).

• Strong attention to detail and data entry skills.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining accuracy.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in specialty pharmacy, intake processing, referral management, or patient care coordination.

• Knowledge of pharmacy workflow and prescription review processes.

• Experience communicating with healthcare providers regarding referrals and prescription requirements.
