2nd-Shift Mechanical Manufacturing Technician

Job Overview Mechanical Manufacturing Technician is an entry level position with no certification required. As an operator, you will learn basic calibration operations and be responsible for preparing and assembling components to build final or sub‑assemblies under direct supervision by a certified calibrator. You will set up and operate production equipment to ensure flow, spray angle, and spray quality meet product specifications and tolerance levels. What You Will Do Set up and operate a test stand to check nozzles, spray bars, and valves for spray quality, angle, and flow according to specifications. Set up and operate a laser marker and printer according to procedures and specifications. Record spray parameters by serial number and certify product conformance through testing and record performance results. Disassemble, repair, and assemble product as needed. Accurately complete production documentation and perform necessary labor transitions. Support and follow all rules, guidelines, and standards set by EHS, Quality, and CI functions. Participate actively in the Continuous Improvement process and safety‑related activities. Work over 40 hours per week as scheduled to meet business needs, including extended shifts or overtime when required. Work non‑standard hours and occasional holiday hours as required by business. Follow a 2nd Shift schedule Monday through Friday from 3:30 pm to 12:00 am. Qualifications You Must Have High school diploma or equivalent; if lacking, two years of relevant experience is required. Preferred Qualifications Experience in manufacturing. Manual dexterity for assembly and calibration tasks. Experience reading, understanding, and working from blueprints. Effective communication skills with employees and management at all levels.
