Assistant Property Manager

Role: Assistant Property Manager Fully onsite for training and would then go to 3 days a week hybrid -This is based out of their corporate office versus being onsite at a specific property Support 2 property managers for residential portfolio of cooperative and condominium properties, overseeing daily operations, resident relations, vendor management, and board communications. Administered apartment alteration projects by reviewing documentation, coordinating approvals with architects and boards, tracking project progress, and ensuring compliance with building regulations and DOB requirements. Oversaw BuildingLink administration, including resident move coordination, amenity reservations, storage and bike room assignments, gym memberships, and shareholder communications. Responded to resident inquiries, processed chargebacks, resolved billing issues, and completed bank and appraisal questionnaires for lending institutions. Prepared and distributed monthly Board meeting packages, attended Board, Annual, and Special Meetings, recorded meeting attendance, and tabulated election results. Monitored compliance deadlines and maintained regulatory records to ensure timely completion of required building inspections, filings, and board documentation. Coordinated accounts payable by reviewing invoices, processing payments through Avid, and preparing reimbursement and check requests. Managed annual shareholder tax abatement programs, including eligibility reviews, resident communications, and documentation tracking. Maintained accurate property records, vendor contracts, resident files, and operational documentation while serving as the primary liaison between Boards, residents, contractors, and building staff.
