Recognized as a Best Place to Work for 19 years, KLR is committed to fostering a culture of collaboration, growth, and innovation.Due to growth we are seeking an Audit Manager to be based in our Andover, Boston, or Providence office on a flexible hybrid basis.As a Manager on our Audit Team, you will utilize your educational background as well as your organizational skills as you work on clients of the Firm. The ideal candidate would have experience with for-profit clients, non-profit clients, or a combination of experience.Responsibilities:Be responsible for client relationships within their area of expertise and for clients assigned to them.Direct field work on financial statement audit and accounting engagements,Schedule and monitor the progress of engagements in relation to budgets and due datesSupervise and review engagement planning, train and evaluate associates and supervisorsReview all work before submission to Partners for further reviewNegotiate fees and ensure proper billings to clientsServe as liaison among Partners, clients and staffDemonstrate proficient technical skills for handling all client responsibilities, including knowledge of trends, industries, alternatives, etc.Understand the client's organization, procedures and internal policiesOwning client relationships and work productProvide clients' with recommendations and guidance on how to achieve their goals and assist in identifying opportunities for growth with clientsWorking closely with staff, and assisting senior management in mentoring, coaching, training, supervising, and evaluating staffFoster a team environment; demonstrates support of management and decisions and build a positive cultureParticipate in practice development activities that lead to the generation of new business and the opportunities for cross-servicesOther Duties:Please note this job description is not designed to cover or contain a comprehensive listing of activities, duties, or responsibilities that are required for this job. Duties, responsibilities and activities may change from time to time with notice whenever possible, but not guaranteed.Qualifications:Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or BusinessMaster's degree in related field preferred7+ years of technical audit experience in public accounting, or related field, 2+ in managerial roleCPA or equivalent certification is requiredAbility to manage all aspects of client engagementsDemonstrated ability to communicate verbally and in writing throughout all levels of organization, both internally and externallyDemonstrated leadership and supervisory ability, strong operational and project management skillsProficient use of applicable technologyThis is a full-time position with standard hours of Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Additional hours, including some evenings and weekends, will be required during peak busy seasons.Pay Range:$120,000.00 - $140,000.00BenefitsKLR offers a wide range of benefits including: health and dental insurance, paid time-off and a competitive retirement savings plan.
