Summary As an Senior Financial Analyst at Gainwell, you can contribute your skills as we harness the power of technology to help our clients improve the health and well-being of the members they serve — a community's most vulnerable. Connect your passion with purpose, teaming with people who thrive on finding innovative solutions to some of healthcare's biggest challenges. This role is strictly involved in the development of the product and does not involve access to Protected Health Information (PHI) & Personally Identifiable Information (PII) or any secured/confidential client data. The work is limited to application development and does not include handling or processing of sensitive health information.
Key responsibilities include:
- Performs highly complex financial analyses including budgeting, trend analysis, forecasting, and financial modeling; develops and implements capitalization methods and reviews journal entries.
- Collects budget, midyear forecast and other financial information; interprets, summarizes, and uploads forecast information to financial systems.
- Analyzes budget and forecast information and prepares presentations with recommendations to senior management.
- Develops financial controls, procedures, systems, and forecasting techniques to ensure compliance.
- Provides leadership and work guidance to less experienced personnel.
- Forecasts cash flow, sales, and expense projections.
- Assists department managers throughout the budgeting process.
- Assists in developing and implementing process changes and collaborates on special projects.
What we're looking for:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
- 14+ years of experience in Finance
- Degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting or related field preferred
- Nine or more years of finance or accounting experience
- Experience with accounting principles, software and databases
- Experience working with financial analysis
