Medical Oncologist

Position Overview Build the Future of Cancer Care in the Lakes Region. Concord Hospital’s Payson Center for Cancer Care seeks two exceptional board‑certified/board‑eligible Medical Oncologists to develop a new medical oncology practice in Laconia, NewHampshire. This role collaborates clinically with independent community partners in Medical and Radiation Oncology, as well as Concord Hospital Medical Group surgical specialists, to provide state‑of‑the‑art oncology care in Central NewHampshire. The Payson Center for Cancer Care is accredited by the American College of Surgeons’ Commission on Cancer (CoC) as a Comprehensive Community Cancer Center, delivering fully integrated multidisciplinary care with medical, radiation, surgical oncology, nurse navigators, social workers, and nutritionists. Position Highlights Deliver comprehensive inpatient and outpatient care in medical oncology and hematology, including evaluation, treatment planning, and longitudinal follow‑up. Collaborate closely with a highly engaged multidisciplinary team to provide evidence‑based, patient‑centered cancer care. Actively participate in weekly multidisciplinary tumor boards and Cancer Committee initiatives. Contribute to program growth, quality improvement, and service line development within a respected Cancer Center. Engage in clinical trials and help advance innovative oncology care. Demonstrate a strong commitment to clinical excellence, professional growth, and patient advocacy. Qualifications MD or DO from an accredited school of medicine. Fellowship training in Hematology/Oncology. Board‑certified or board‑eligible in Medical Oncology (ABIM). Eligible for licensure in the state of NewHampshire. Vision requirements: color vision, depth perception, far vision, near vision, peripheral vision.
