We are a growing Heating, Cooling and plumbing company that is looking for a dependable, organized and detail-oriented Office bookkeeper. This role is important to the company to work closely with the technicians, customers and other office staff.

The Ideal Candidate would be someone who can wear multiple hats in the company.  Able to move comfortably between bookkeeping, answering the phones, scheduling and whatever administrative needs come up during the day.

Confidentiality, honesty, attention to detail, and reliability are extremely important in this position.

Bookkeeping & Financial Responsibilities:

·         Maintain accurate company financial records

·         Handle accounts payable and accounts receivable

·         Enter and process bills and vendor invoices

·         Prepare and send customer invoices

·         Record and process customer payments

·         Follow up on outstanding customer balances

·         Reconcile bank and credit card statements

·         Assist with monthly financial reporting

·         Assist with payroll processing and related administrative tasks

Office Responsibilities:

·         Answer incoming phone calls and respond to customer questions

·         Schedule service calls and sales appointments

·         Coordinate technician schedules

·         Communicate appointment information and updates with customers

·         Maintain customer accounts, service records and contact information

·         Assist management team with administrative tasks

Customer Service:

·         Provide friendly and professional service to customers by phone, email or in person

·         Address routine customer questions and concerns

·         Maintain positive relationships with technicians, office staff, sales staff, as well as customers

Qualifications:

·         Experience with accounts payable and accounts receivable

·         Comfortable working with numbers and financial information

·         Excellent communication and customer service skills

·         Ability to manage multiple priorities in a busy service environment

·         Reliable, professional, and trustworthy

Position Details:

Full-time Monday through Friday 8:00am to 5pm

Annual salary $55,000  to $65,000
