Tax Manager
As Tax Manager, you'll partner directly with ultra-high-net-worth individuals and family offices, guiding them through complex tax planning, wealth transfer, and compliance strategies that shape financial legacies. What You'll Be Doing:
- Lead and oversee tax engagements for UHNW families and private clients
- Review and prepare complex federal and state returns (individual, trust, estate, partnership)
- Provide strategic advice on income, estate, gift, and trust tax matters
- Partner with legal, wealth, and investment advisors to deliver holistic solutions
- Serve as a trusted advisor to clients year-round, not just during tax season
- Mentor and develop associates and advisors, helping shape best practices across the team
- Contribute to process improvement and uphold a culture of excellence
Requirements:
- 4+ years of progressive experience in tax advisory or public accounting
- Active CPA required; Master's in Taxation or Accounting preferred
- Strong technical expertise in individual, partnership, trust, estate, and gift taxation
- Proven ability to lead client relationships and manage multiple engagements
- Excellent communicator with a collaborative, service-first mindset
- Big Four experience strongly preferred
- Experience with family offices or private wealth clients is a plus
- Demonstrated stability and long-term growth in prior roles
