Location: Syracuse, New York Shift: Nights, 3x12 hrs Start Date: September 27, 2026 Duration: 13 weeks $2,125 /weekly
Job Description
Stability HealthCare is looking for a Psych ER RN contract position in Syracuse, New York. They are typically responsible for assessing and triaging patients, providing crisis interventions, administering medications, and coordinating care with other healthcare professionals. They must be skilled in managing patients with a wide range of mental health conditions, including suicidal and homicidal ideation, psychosis, and substance abuse. In addition to their clinical duties, they may also be responsible for educating patients and families about mental health conditions and connecting them with community resources for ongoing care.
Job Requirements
To become a psychiatric emergency room nurse, you typically need to have a nursing degree from an accredited program and a current nursing license. 2 years of experience are required.
