Job Overview Job Title: Senior Strategic Procurement Consultant Company: Aequor Information Technologies Pvt. Ltd Location: Cambridge, MA or Morristown, NJ Duration: Contract till 12/2025 with possibility to extend Shifts: 1st Work Schedule: Typically ~ 9 AM - 5 PM Base pay range: $75.00/hr - $78.00/hr Note: Pay is based on skills and experience; speak with your recruiter to learn more. Responsibilities Support External Manufacturing Procurement team with strategic negotiations, project management, sourcing optimization initiatives, and capability building. Lead strategic negotiations for high-priority contracts including Fuji contract, Project Fusion, Inventory Workshop lead and Xenpozyme negotiations. Develop and execute label and packaging strategy for external manufacturing. Project management of concurrent strategic initiatives; develop and manage negotiation dashboards and tracking tools. Support Ways of Working (WoW) optimization initiatives. Identify and analyze sourcing opportunities. Provide expert advisory on procurement best practices and industry benchmarks. Train and build capability within teams; create and deliver training materials and sessions. Develop procurement dashboards and tracking systems; prepare status reports and milestone tracking. Required Qualifications Education: BSc or MSc/MBA preferred; strong management experience. 10+ years of experience in strategic procurement/sourcing, preferably in pharmaceutical/biotech industry; biotech experience preferred. Consultants from top-tier firms preferred. Proven track record in complex contract negotiations; strong expertise in external manufacturing and CDMO relationships. Demonstrated capability in training and team development; advanced project management skills. Experience with procurement transformation initiatives; strong analytical and financial modeling skills. Ability to develop strategic negotiation outcomes for assigned contracts. Experience with procurement dashboards, reporting, and opportunity assessments.
