Job Description

Machine Operator is responsible for safely operating and monitoring production equipment used in the manufacturing of nonwoven materials. This position will operate machinery at a skilled level, monitor machine settings, coordinate production activities, and ensure finished products meet required quality and production standards.

Responsibilities:

• Set up, operate, and monitor production machinery throughout the shift.
• Maintain proper machine settings to achieve required production results.
• Monitor equipment performance and make necessary adjustments during production.
• Coordinate and assist employees working on the production line.
• Follow the production schedule and instructions provided by the Shift Supervisor.
• Inspect materials and finished products to ensure quality specifications are met.
• Monitor material flow through the production process.

Qualifications and Requirements:

• Must have previous machine operating or manufacturing experience.
• Must have strong mechanical aptitude and the ability to learn production equipment.
• Must be able to monitor machine settings and recognize production or quality issues.
• Must be comfortable working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
• Must have good attention to detail and quality.

The base pay range for this position is $23, excluding benefits, bonuses, or other compensation. Your final compensation will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, location, and internal pay equity. Please note, hiring at the top of the range is uncommon to allow room for future  growth.
