Floor Manager/Events Admin/Maitre D

We are looking for a polished, highly organized individual to join our team as an Events/Floor Manager/Weekend Maitre d'. This hybrid role combines guest-facing service leadership with event coordination and administrative support. The ideal candidate has strong hospitality experience, excellent communication skills, and thrives in a fast-paced, detail-oriented environment.

Good Days is a small, chef-driven team in Williamsburg. We are a family-owned, neighborhood restaurant focused on thoughtful and intentional hospitality, seasonally driven food, and an elevated but approachable beverage program. We're focused on providing an atmosphere that feels comforting for both guests and those who work on our team. 

We’re looking for someone with a genuine passion for hospitality, thoughtful teamwork and strong work ethic, polished technical skills in service, and a deep curiosity about food, wine, spirits, and service. 

• Greet and seat guests, manage reservations, and oversee floor flow to ensure a seamless guest experience.
• Support private dining and event coordination: assist with inquiries, proposals, client communication, and day-of execution.
• Maintain organized records for reservations, events, and vendor contracts.
• Provide administrative support to management, including scheduling, correspondence, and office organization.
• Collaborate with service staff to uphold high standards of hospitality and efficiency.
• Assist with basic marketing and communication tasks related to events and guest outreach
• Assist with service on the floor
• Lead and oversee all front-of-house service during shifts
• Support servers, bartenders and floor teams throughout service
• Monitor inventory, have good wine and spirits knowledge
• Assist owners with all facets of running FOH 

• Minimum 3 years hospitality experience; fine dining and high-volume required.
• Previous management experience, or a very experienced maitre d' with bar and serving experience will be considered
• Event coordination in a restaurant setting required.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Tech-savvy (Resy/Toast, Google Workspace, event software).
• Flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Friday,Saturday and Sunday are required.
