What You'll Do
- Provide expert nursing care to Neuro ICU patients
- Monitor intracranial pressure, ventilators, and telemetry
- Administer IV medications and perform IV starts
- Respond to patient needs promptly and efficiently
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to optimize patient outcomes
- Utilize Epic EHR system for documentation
- Float within units of equivalent or lower acuity as needed
What You Need
Required:
- Ohio RN license or Compact state license
- 2+ years of Neuro ICU nursing experience
- BCLS, ACLS, NIHSS certifications
- Proficiency in IV starts, telemetry, ventilator management, intracranial pressure monitoring
Preferred:
- Experience with Epic EHR system
About the Assignment This assignment involves working in a busy Neuro ICU within a leading hospital in Columbus, Ohio. You will provide specialized care to neuro-critical patients, ensuring safety, comfort, and optimal recovery. The schedule includes a 12-hour shift working either day or night rotation, with potential for float within similar acuity units.
