RN - Registered Nurse - ICU - Neurology (Weekend Position)

Registered Nurse – Neuro ICUSchedule: 36 hours/week; day/night rotation with estimated rotation every 4 weeks; weekend requirement of every other weekend.Assignment Details: Typical ratios: 2:1 for days, nights, and weekends; contract length is not specified.Requirements:Minimum 2 years of RN experience.Travel experience required.Trauma Level I experience preferred.Must have a valid compact or state RN license in hand at the time of submission.Required certifications: BCLS (BLS), ACLS, NIHSS (AHA certifications only).Experience with charting system: Epic required.Responsibilities:Manage ventilator support and suctioning.Monitor ICP/EVD and provide neurocritical care post-op management.Perform IV starts and manage central/PICC/arterial lines.Titrate cardiac and vasoactive drips.Administer blood products and recognize dysrhythmias.Experience with high flow, BiPAP/CPAP, and EEG monitoring.Compliance / Notes: Flu vaccine is required (medical exemptions only); compliance items must be completed by the Tuesday prior to start. Immediate completion of Ohio fingerprinting is required after contract signature for out-of-state candidates.
