Job Description
Registered Nurse - Medical ICU

Schedule

12-week rotating contract with day and night shifts. Scheduling assignments reviewed every 4-week period.

Assignment Details

Daily census of approximately 23 patients; 24 beds available.

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of current ICU experience
• Acute care experience in the same specialty
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIH/NIHSS
• Experience with patient ratios of 2:1
• Proficiency in EPIC charting system

Responsibilities

• Provide care for a diverse patient population, including adolescents, adults, and geriatrics
• Manage ventilator settings and suctioning
• Monitor and manage central and arterial lines
• Titrate vasoactive and cardiac drips
• Administer blood products and complex medication regimens
• Interpret ABGs and manage dysrhythmias

Compliance / Notes

Compliance requirements include background checks and documentation timelines. Parking options available and details will be provided. RTO is required with submission.
