Job Title : Registered Nurse (RN) Location : Miles City, Montana – Holy Rosary OB/GYN Clinics and Holy Rosary General Surgery Clinic Job Overview The Registered Nurse (RN) is a professional caregiver who assumes responsibility and accountability for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating care of patients in an outpatient clinic setting. The RN coordinates care with other health team members, utilizes technology, therapeutic interventions, and evidence‑based practice, and implements established protocols and standing orders. Responsibilities Performs general nursing care to patients by following established standards and procedures. Obtains patient consent for care and ensures patient confidentiality. Obtains and documents health history, chief complaint, vital signs, and risk factors; assesses disease condition. Provides patient care based on practice guidelines, standards of care, and federal/state laws and regulations. Executes prescribed treatments and medical interventions; administers medications; monitors and documents treatment progress and patient response. Consults with physicians, other health providers, and community resources to prevent or resolve problems. Educates patients and families about health status, health maintenance, and management of acute and chronic conditions. Documents patient assessment and intervention data using established medical record forms/automated systems. Participates in multidisciplinary teams to improve patient care processes and outcomes and tracks quality assurance data. Minimum Qualifications Graduate of an accredited school of nursing. Current/valid Registered Nurse license from the state licensing board. Basic Life Support (BLS) or Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification. One (1) year related experience in a clinic or acute hospital nursing setting. Regular attendance on site during scheduled work hours. Knowledge of nursing processes, health care systems, and community resources. Effective communication skills with staff and patients. Sound judgment and composure in emergency situations. Positive, caring attitude and strong work ethic. Critical thinking skills within scope of practice and population health management. Preferred Qualifications Bachelor of Science in Nursing. IBCLC certification. Wound care certification. Shift Details Full‑time (40 budgeted hours). The caregiver will be scheduled for either five 8‑hour shifts or four 10‑hour shifts per week. Physical Demands Frequent reading and documentation; use of computer for patient care data. Manual dexterity to manipulate equipment and perform procedures. Ability to lift and transfer patients and move heavy equipment. Prolonged standing and walking in busy clinical areas.
