Venue Operations Supervisor - MGM Fenway Music Hall

Responsibilities Supervise operations-based departments including Guest Services, Coat Check and VIP staff. Check accuracy of labor system at the end of each shift. Maintain appropriate atmosphere (lights, sound level, room temperature, cleanliness, line of sight, table maintenance, room capacity). Conduct operations with a Guest First mindset. Perform opening, ongoing, and closing duties. Occasionally conduct daily pre-shift in an upbeat and motivational manner. Conduct safety, cleaning and maintenance walk‑through – interior and exterior of building. Check ticket counts with box office before shift begins. Check email and mailbox for current information. Familiarize self with event sheets. Facilitate proper inter‑departmental communication and organization. Required Qualifications State or County Licensee or Certification Requirement, or Responsible Alcohol Awareness Training Certification or equivalent. High school diploma or equivalent. Ability to work late hours. Flexible schedule. 3 years supervisory experience in a high‑volume restaurant/music hall environment. Knowledge of Microsoft Office products. Knowledge of state, federal and local liquor laws and health code regulations. Ability to deal with intoxicated guests in a positive and safety‑minded manner. Tolerance of all cultures, music and art forms. Skilled in decision making, leadership, guest relations, interpersonal communications, organization, team building, time management, and staff management. Ability to motivate staff, problem‑solve, lead, delegate, follow up, and deal with volatile situations with tact and confidence. Preferred Qualifications Experience in a live music environment. College diploma in a related field. Physical Demands / Working Environment Fast‑paced, often loud and stressful environment. Extended periods of prolonged standing and working on your feet. Must be able to lift or move up to 25 lbs using proper lifting techniques. Compensation $20.00 – $25.00 USD hourly.
