Dispatch Coordinator

The Dispatch Coordinator is responsible for managing relationships with clients and carriers, ensuring efficient freight transportation, and maximizing revenue opportunities. This role requires strong communication skills, negotiation abilities, and a thorough understanding of logistics processes.

• Client Relationship Management : Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their shipping needs and providing tailored solutions.
• Carrier Coordination : Source and negotiate with carriers to secure competitive rates and reliable service.
• Load Management : Oversee the entire shipping process, including dispatching, tracking, and resolving any issues that arise during transit.
• Sales and Business Development : Identify new business opportunities and maintain a pipeline of potential clients. Actively promote services to expand the client base.
• Data Analysis : Monitor key performance metrics and analyze data to improve operational efficiency and profitability.
• Compliance and Documentation : Ensure all shipments comply with regulations and maintain accurate records of transactions, contracts, and communications.
• Problem Resolution : Address and resolve any issues or disputes that arise with clients or carriers promptly and professionally.

• Bachelor's degree in business, logistics, or a related field (preferred).
• 1 year of proven experience in freight brokerage, logistics, or transportation management.
• Strong negotiation and communication skills.
• Proficient in logistics software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
