Registered Nurse - Cardiac Cath LabHourly Pay Range: $36.00 - $55.80 - The hourly pay rate offered is determined by a candidate's expertise and years of experience, among other factors.Sign on Bonus: $20,000- Must have at least 1 year of prior Cath lab experience.Location: Northwest Community Hospital - Arlington Heights, ILFull time/Part time: Full Time, 40 hours/weekHours: 6:30am – 5:00pm (Scheduled Monday – Friday)On call required in addition to regular schedule: Approximately 6-7 on call shifts per month including weekendsRequired Travel: NoWhat You Will Do:Provides patient assessment and collection of health data involving patient, family and other health care providers.Coordinates patient plan of care to assure interventions are consistent, safe, timely and appropriate.Communicates clearly and effectively with all customers, in person, on the phone and in writing.Individualizes patient and family teaching based on a thorough assessment to meet their specific learning needs.Participates in evaluating quality and effectiveness of nursing practice by participating in quality improvement initiatives.Maintains professional knowledge in current nursing practice standards, laws and regulations.What You Will Need:Successful completion of an Associate's degree or BSN from an accredited school of nursingCurrent licensure to practice nursing in the State of Illinois1 year of Cath Lab experience PreferredCurrent CPR certification from the American Heart AssociationACLS certificationBenefits:Eligibility for our Annual Incentive Plan, which offers the potential to earn a certain percentage amount of your base salary based on organizational performance.
