Corporate / Controllership Accountant for AI Training

Apply hands-on controllership expertise to create structured training data that helps AI reason through practical accounting work, including financial reporting, month-end close, and core accounting operations.

Focus areas include financial accounting and reporting, bookkeeping and client accounting services, and AP, AR, and payroll operations.

• Create realistic accounting scenarios covering financial statement preparation, journal entries, account and bank reconciliations, month-end and period-end close, fixed-asset and depreciation schedules, accruals, and prepaids.
• Evaluate and compare AI-generated accounting work for accuracy, GAAP compliance, and professional judgment.
• Provide clear written feedback to improve AI performance on close and reporting tasks.
• Work asynchronously with the research team.

• CPA credential, or 3 to 5+ years of corporate, in-house, or firm accounting experience. A niche certification is not required.
• Hands-on responsibility for the general ledger and period-end close.
• Bachelor''s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Comfort using accounting tools such as QuickBooks, NetSuite, SAP, Oracle, and Excel.
• Strong written communication skills and close attention to detail.

• Remote, hourly engagement.

$80 to $120 per hour.
